Defense of Retailer in Discrimination Case

We provided full litigation support for a retailer in a case involving a former employee who alleged that he was discriminated against because of his race during his employment and was terminated because of his race. During the course of plaintiff’s deposition, plaintiff notified our client that he was willing to settle this matter for a nominal sum and the matter was recently dismissed pursuant to the parties’ settlement agreement.
