Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Lisa Rivera will participate in the Belmont University College of Law Symposium on Friday, November 4, 2022. The symposium will be held at the Randall and Sadie Baskin Center (1901 15th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37212) from 8:30 a.m – 12:30 p.m. This year’s event will focus on multiple aspects of pharmacy law. Academic speakers will present “The Complexities of Insulin Regulation and Access” and “Pharmacy Level Barriers To Access To Medication For Opioid Use Disorder,” a local judge will provide insight into Davidson County’s Mental Health Court, the Chief Pharmacist for TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services will present on past and present drug regulation, and panels of local practitioners will cover enforcement and regulation of pharmacy law and more. Lunch is provided afterward, an excellent networking opportunity for local practitioners and law students.
