We filed a protest on behalf of Wayti Services, LLC, a facilities support services company. The protest challenged an award for base operations and maintenance services at Fort Carson, Colorado, made by the Department of the Army (Army). Our team demonstrated that the evaluation and award decision was fundamentally flawed, and the Army eventually agreed with the positions made in the protest and elected to take corrective action. The corrective action involved a new re-evaluation of the offerors technical and cost proposals and new source selection, giving our client another opportunity to win the contract. In addition, due to the timing of corrective action announcement, the Army agreed to reimburse over $63,000 in legal fees spent pursuing the protest.
