Tim Van Hal advises clients on a variety of corporate, securities and capital markets law matters including advice related to corporate restructurings, securities offerings and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate refinancings and general corporate matters. He has worked on a variety of debt and equity deals serving corporate clients as well as private equity houses and underwriting banks as well as varied mergers and acquisitions, block trades, and other smaller capital markets matters. Tim works across a range of industries including manufacturing, financial services, pharmaceuticals, biotech, REITs and online retailers.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Tim practiced at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Frankfurt, Germany, as part of their U.S. Capital Markets team.
