Brenda Phillips serves as Counsel in the Healthcare Practice Group at Bass, Berry and Sims PLC. As former general counsel for hospital service companies, HealthTech Management Systems, Inc. and HealthTech Solutions Group, LLC, Brenda successfully contained enterprise-threatening events, including a qui tam action which was dismissed during early stage proceedings. She works closely with business executives to find practical solutions to regulatory and business issues and excels as a supportive team member.
Providing insight regarding the needs of smaller hospitals integrating with larger systems as well as broad assistance to other healthcare clients, Brenda adopts a holistic approach in addressing the effects of healthcare regulation on an entire organization. Drawing from her experience, she offers a strong understanding of hospital operations, revenue cycle and healthcare technology, and provides effective management and organizational strategies.
