Michael Hill counsels clients on corporate and securities issues including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and securities regulations matters and filings. He works within a range of industries, including healthcare, life sciences, insurance and others.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Karen K. Caldwell, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Michael graduated first in his class from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and earned a B.A. in philosophy, politics and law from the University of Southern California. Michael is a dual citizen of the United States and United Kingdom, and previously lived in Shanghai, China, for five years.
