Kean Devine counsels clients on real estate and commercial finance transactions including:

  • Representing developers, investors and owners in the acquisition, financing, disposition, and leasing of real property.
  • Negotiating and drafting office leases, retail leases, subleases and amendments for landlords and tenants.

Kean works across a variety of industries, with a particular emphasis within the healthcare sector. Drawing on his former experience as a corporate attorney, he regularly works with real estate development companies on private debt and equity offerings and other corporate maintenance and organizational matters.

Kean also collaborates with the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group on corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, for public and private companies, which involve financing and real estate issues.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Kean was an associate at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis LLP in Nashville.
