Bass, Berry & Sims Welcomes Two Attorneys to the Firm

Nashville, Tenn., (July 7, 2016) – Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is pleased to welcome two attorneys to the firm’s Nashville office.

Janice Parmar (Associate) advises emerging and public companies on a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, SEC reporting and compliance, corporate governance and corporate formation. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Parmar practiced in the Palo Alto, California, office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. and at Dewey & LeBeouf LLP in New York. Parmar earned her law degree from New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Indiana University.

Kimberly S. Veirs (Attorney) advises clients in all facets of employment law including wage and hour; discipline and discharge; discrimination claims and a variety of employment law issues, involving the FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and other state and federal employment law statutes. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Veirs practiced with a Pennsylvania-based employment boutique law firm representing employers in all stages of employment law and workers’ compensation litigation. Veirs earned her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Tennessee.
