Nashville, Tenn. (August 27, 2010) – R. Dale Grimes, a Member of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, has been appointed chair-elect of the Lex Mundi Antitrust, Competition and Trade Group. Grimes will take his place as chair of the 400+ member group in 2012.

Grimes, who serves as the leader of Bass, Berry & Sims’ Antitrust and Trade Practices Group, has 30 years of experience handling civil litigation matters throughout Tennessee with a special focus on antitrust, consumer fraud, complex litigation, class actions, telecommunications, energy and water. His practice also focuses on antitrust counseling to clients on a variety of merger, pre-merger notification, distribution, exclusive dealing, exclusionary practices, market power, healthcare, pricing and joint venture issues, as well as government and internal antitrust investigations. In addition, Grimes has developed and implemented antitrust compliance programs for various clients.
