In-House Associate Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions (Onsite/Metro Nashville Area)

Latitude is seeking an in-house commercial transactions or finance attorney to join a dynamic corporate legal team in Nashville. If you have a strong background in corporate transactions and finance, this is your chance to engage in high-stakes deals and complex transactions. You’ll handle everything from drafting and reviewing contracts to managing due diligence and closing deals, while also overseeing outside counsel and advising stakeholders. This is an on-site, full-time position in the greater Nashville area.

Requirements for the Associate Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions:

  • 4+ years of commercial, M&A/corporate, or finance attorney experience
  • Past commercial contracts experience, including the ability to negotiate, draft, and administer a variety of commercial contracts. Experience working with energy/power purchase agreements is a plus
  • Prior experience directing due diligence and managing commercial transaction closings
  • Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for in-house exemption)
  • Outstanding professional references

Compensation:
Pay: The salary range for this role is $185,000 – $215,000, and the position is also bonus-eligible. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
