Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Todd Overman and Bryan King will present “Bid Protests and SBA Size/Status Protests: Filing and Defense Strategies” at the SCS Annual Government Contracting Seminar.

This presentation will provide an overview of two types of bid protests most commonly used by government contractors to challenge federal procurement awards: bid protests at GAO or Court of Federal Claims and size/status protests and appeals at the SBA. Our presenters will explain the advance planning and litigation strategy that goes into pursuing and defending against a bid or size/status protest. The presentation will provide the nuts and bolts of the protest processes so decision-makers have the information they need when making critical decisions on whether or not to file protests to challenge procurement decisions.

The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 28 at the Doubletree Hotel in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
