Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Janelle Waack presented a session titled, “Legal Aspects of Cybersecurity” at the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Technology Summit that took place October 16-18. Janelle’s session focused on the legal obligations for protecting information and reporting cybersecurity incidents, including recent developments with the SEC’s proposed rules to increase reporting by public companies about cybersecurity incidents.
