Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Clayton Jackson will be moderating a clerk’s panel as part of Drafting Success: A Seminar on Judicial Opinion Writing and Clerkships hosted by the University of Memphis School of Law. The event will take place on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 12:30-6:30 PM.
The program features keynote speaker Ross Guberman, who has conducted thousands of workshops for prominent law firms, judges, agencies and corporations. In addition to Mr. Guberman’s presentation, the seminar will begin with a panel of law clerks offering their tips on making valuable contributions to the work of a judge’s chambers. A panel of judges will round out the day, sharing their wisdom about what makes an opinion effective and how they approach the drafting and revising process with their clerks.
