Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Tim Browne will serve as a panelist at the 11th Annual GEMALaw Sports & Entertainment Law Symposium at Georgetown University. Tim will speak on a panel titled, “How New Media and Evolving Audience Demands Affect Sports Law.” Questions considered by this panel include:
- What are some of the new modes of distribution and streaming of sports events? How do these new technologies change how you do your job?
- Representation of athletes versus in-house lawyers – what are some of the conflicting interests at play?
- Domestic and international deals – how have these deals evolved and changed with technology and social media?
- How would you advise students interested in this field prepare while in law school?
