Warren Sanger is a Member in the firm's Knoxville office.  He is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1987.  Warren obtained his M.S. from the University of Tennessee in 1991, where he was recognized as the top graduate in his program.  He received his law degree, with honors, from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1998.  Warren is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Knoxville Bar Association.  He is also a board member of Knoxville's Second Harvest Food Bank.

Warren's public finance experience includes:
  • Serving as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel and letter of credit bank's counsel for a wide variety of private activity bond issues.
  • Serving as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel and issuer's counsel for a variety of financings for local governments, including: (i) general obligation bond issues for cities and counties; (ii) water, sewer, gas and electric revenue bond issues for municipal utilities and utility districts; and (iii) revenue bond issues for municipally-owned telecommunications systems.

Warren also advises clients on a wide range of securities regulation and corporate governance matters and assists clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses.
