Mr. Noonan co-chairs the firm’s Healthcare Practice Area. His practice focuses exclusively on healthcare law. He has been named to Chambers USA for his work in healthcare and most recently was recognized as one of Nashville Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes for his innovative and pioneering role within Nashville's healthcare industry. Mr. Noonan is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. His experience includes:
  • Representation of hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, clinical laboratories, dialysis facilities and outpatient imaging centers
  • Representation of assisted living facilities, long term care facilities and hospices
  • Representation of disease management companies
  • Representation of buyers and sellers in healthcare mergers and acquisitions
  • Representation of healthcare providers in structuring joint ventures
  • Representation of physician and dental practice management companies
  • Representation of retail-based nurse practitioner clinics
  • Representation of single specialty and multi-specialty physician practices
  • Analysis of physician self-referral (commonly referred to as Stark), fraud and abuse, and other regulatory issues in operational matters affecting healthcare providers

Mr. Noonan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he earned his B.S., cum laude, and his J.D., summa cum laude. While attending law school, Scott was honored as a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Order of the Coif, was selected as a John W. Green Scholar and served as articles editor of the Tennessee Law Review.
