Ryann Schneider joined Bass, Berry & Sims PLC in September 2008 as an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Practices and Corporate and Securities Practice Areas. She is also a member of the firm's Healthcare Information Technology Specialty Group and provides litigation and dispute resolution consultation in the field of intellectual property. Her practice focuses on IP and technology transactions and portfolio maintenance for a variety of clients and includes regular practice before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ryann also assists clients with U.S. and international branding strategies and trademark protection, advertising and social media practices, software licensing and vendor relationships.
Ryann received her J.D. in May 2008 from Vanderbilt University Law School. In addition to being on the Dean’s List, she was also student writing editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, a law school ambassador and a member of the Trial Advocacy Society.
Ryann graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2005 with a B.S. in recording industry production and technology. Additionally, Ryann was president of Scared Rabbit Records, a member of Pinnacle Honor Society and a member of the College Democrats.
Outside of work, Ryann enjoys playing the piano. She is also proficient in Russian.
