One more reason not to click on links, especially in SMS (text) messages:

NetworkWorld and security vendor FireEye have reported a new phishing scheme where clicking the embedded text link downloads malicious malware, which installs a fake “user interface” over apps such as Uber and Google Play. The next time you think you are accessing the real app, the malfeasor captures your confidential information, such as your credit card number.

Hackers are smart and persistent. Be more so.
