  • Sam is an associate in the firm's Nashville office, and is a member of the firm's Commercial Transactions and Real Estate Group. Sam's practice includes commercial lending, secured transactions, real estate and general commercial law. As part of the Commercial Transactions and Real Estate Group, Sam routinely assists clients with:

    • Syndicated senior secured revolving credit and term loan facilities
    • Asset-based, revolving credit, term and construction loan facilities
    • Nonrecourse financings
    • Commercial leasing
    • Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
    • Local legal compliance in multi-state commercial lending and real estate transactions
    • Project finance

    He also frequently collaborates with the Corporate Practice Group on transactions that involve a financing or real estate component. Prior to joining the firm, Sam practiced at Peck, Shaffer and Williams in Cincinnati, Ohio.

    Outside of the office, Sam enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Laura, is an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, and enjoys debating serious matters pertaining to barbeque, having been raised in the rich Memphis tradition.
