On December 1, 2016, Parker Hannifin Corporation and CLARCOR Inc. announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Parker will acquire CLARCOR for approximately $4.3 billion in cash, including the assumption of net debt. The transaction has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of each company. Upon closing of the transaction, expected to be completed by or during the first quarter of Parker’s fiscal year 2018, CLARCOR will be combined with Parker’s Filtration Group to form a leading and diverse global filtration business.   • Healthcare Disputes –Representing hospitals and healthcare providers facing managed care payment disputes with third party payors, involving analysis of regulations and statutes, such as ERISA and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; advising clients on risk management issues; and defending providers against professional liability actions, including wrongful death and negligence claims.
  • Business Disputes – Representing financial institutions and other businesses in a variety of cases involving breach of contract or fiduciary duty; misrepresentation; securities violations; regulatory compliance matters, including violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA); administrative hearings involving utilities and other regulated entities; and other business-related activities.
  • Products Liability & Torts – Defending manufacturers and sellers of food, medical devices, and electronic devices in product liability actions.
