On December 1, 2016, Parker Hannifin Corporation and CLARCOR Inc. announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Parker will acquire CLARCOR for approximately $4.3 billion in cash, including the assumption of net debt. The transaction has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of each company. Upon closing of the transaction, expected to be completed by or during the first quarter of Parker’s fiscal year 2018, CLARCOR will be combined with Parker’s Filtration Group to form a leading and diverse global filtration business. Stephanie Roth advises clients as they seek to make employment decisions in a changing legal and economic climate. She consults with clients on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws, assists employers with communicating effectively with employees and guides employers' efforts to provide a safe and responsive work environment. Stephanie focuses on helping employers avoid complex legal issues, and provides sound legal defense when litigation does arise.

Stephanie Roth advises clients as they seek to make employment decisions in a changing legal and economic climate. She consults with clients on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws, assists employers with communicating effectively with employees and guides employers' efforts to provide a safe and responsive work environment. Stephanie focuses on helping employers avoid complex legal issues, and provides sound legal defense when litigation does arise.

Stephanie counsels management and human resources professionals within hospitals, long-term care facilities, industrial production facilities and many other businesses on allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Her practice involves:

  • Employment Litigation – Prepares litigation documents required for employment discrimination, wage and hour, and non-compete cases, including class actions and collective actions. 
  • Labor & Employment Law – Consults with clients on compliance with respect to employment decisions, such as reductions in force, terminations, severance agreements; reviews policies and employee handbooks to ensure compliance; prepares responses to charges and requests for information from government organizations such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
  • Audits – Assists with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audits and conducts internal audits regarding misclassification of employees as independent contractors.

Stephanie also provides internal consulting for corporate attorneys on M&A deals, including review of employment agreements and advice on non-compete laws. Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie was an associate at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis LLP where she advised clients in the healthcare industry on labor and employment issues.
