On December 1, 2016, Parker Hannifin Corporation and CLARCOR Inc. announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Parker will acquire CLARCOR for approximately $4.3 billion in cash, including the assumption of net debt. The transaction has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of each company. Upon closing of the transaction, expected to be completed by or during the first quarter of Parker’s fiscal year 2018, CLARCOR will be combined with Parker’s Filtration Group to form a leading and diverse global filtration business. Working on behalf of publicly traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) and private investors, Buddy McDaniel advises clients on the acquisition, disposition and financing of large-scale commercial real estate assets. He also has extensive experience representing financial institutions and borrowers in commercial lending matters and in commercial loan workouts and restructures. In the past three years, Buddy has assisted public and private clients in more than $1 billion worth of financings and in excess of $475 million in real estate acquisitions and dispositions.

Buddy represents clients in a variety of industry sectors, with significant experience in agriculture, retail and multi-family real estate. He also advises local and regional businesses in all aspects of commercial real estate acquisition, financing and distressed property resolution. His practice includes:

  • Real Estate – Advising clients in the acquisition, financing and disposition of various real estate projects, including multi-family properties, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial buildings, healthcare facilities, and a wide range of agricultural properties.
  • REITs – Working with public and private REITs, as well as institutional investors, in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties and in the negotiation of financing options, such as credit facilities, of such properties.
  • Financial Transactions – Representing borrowers and lenders in a variety of real estate and other secured loan transactions, including underlying loan assumption, refinancing, commercial property roll ups, revolving credit lines, CMBS debt modification, single property loans and credit enhancements on bond transactions.
