Mike Kuffner focuses his practice on advising clients on transactional, corporate governance and securities law matters. With experience representing both public and private clients, including private equity backed companies, Mike has handled transactions for clients across a range of industries including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and retail.
Mike’s practice includes:
Mergers & Acquisitions – Advising private equity firms, strategic investors and their portfolio companies on a broad range of business transactions, including mergers, leveraged and management buyouts, recapitalizations, sell-side dispositions of businesses and carveouts.
Corporate Governance – Advising boards of directors or executive team members with respect to corporate governance issues and compliance, as well as advising clients on corporate restructurings, management led buyouts and other business combinations.
Capital Markets – Advising clients on various securities matters, including fiduciary duties, securities law reporting and regulatory compliance and public company disclosure.
In addition, Mike serves in leadership positions within the firm, including the firm’s Associate Development Committee and as Corporate & Securities Practice Group staffing partner.
