On December 1, 2016, Parker Hannifin Corporation and CLARCOR Inc. announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Parker will acquire CLARCOR for approximately $4.3 billion in cash, including the assumption of net debt. The transaction has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of each company. Upon closing of the transaction, expected to be completed by or during the first quarter of Parker’s fiscal year 2018, CLARCOR will be combined with Parker’s Filtration Group to form a leading and diverse global filtration business. As former General Counsel and Vice President of StoneRiver Pharmacy Solutions, Inc. and its affiliate Progressive Medical, Inc. for 10 years, she provides first-hand experience to clients within this specialized industry.

Louise Gaerig focuses her practice on healthcare regulatory, transactional and operational matters with a specific emphasis in the specialty pharmacy industry. She provides regulatory guidance to pharmacies, drug manufacturers, group purchasing organizations and other healthcare entities.

As former General Counsel and Vice President of StoneRiver Pharmacy Solutions, Inc. and its affiliate Progressive Medical, Inc. for 10 years, she provides first-hand experience to clients within this specialized industry. During her tenure with StoneRiver Pharmacy Solutions, she was responsible for the management of all transactional matters affecting each business unit under the StoneRiver/Progressive Medical umbrella doing business in all 50 states.

Louise's practice involves:

  • Specialty Pharmacy – Assisting specialty pharmacies with contract negotiation, regulatory guidance and licensure issues.
  • Drug Distribution – Providing legal and regulatory guidance related to the supply chain to specialty and retail pharmacies, wholesale distribution centers, reimbursement hub services, and co-pay and coupon program services.
  • Healthcare Contracting, Regulatory & Operational Matters –Providing counsel on healthcare operations, regulatory and reimbursement issues.
  • Healthcare Compliance – Providing regulatory compliance as to HIPAA and state law privacy and security laws unique to the pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to joining StoneRiver, Louise was a partner in the Memphis office of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP focusing on corporate and securities and real estate matters.
