Drawing on her 10 years of experience as the former general counsel and vice president of StoneRiver Pharmacy Solutions, Inc. and its affiliate Progressive Medical, Inc. (now known as OptumRx), she is able to provide first-hand experience to clients within this specialized industry. During her tenure with StoneRiver Pharmacy Solutions, she was responsible for the management of all transactional matters affecting each business unit under the StoneRiver/Progressive Medical umbrella doing business in all 50 states.

  • Contracting, Regulatory & Operational Matters – Counseling hospitals and other healthcare providers on a wide range of matters related to managed care contracting, licensure, certification and accreditation of healthcare facilities, hospital/physician contracting, specialty provider contracting, Medicare enrollment, provider-based issues, reimbursement analyses, and other operational and regulatory issues.
  • Healthcare Compliance – Providing regulatory compliance counsel on matters relating to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and state law privacy and security laws.
  • Specialty Pharmacy – Assisting specialty pharmacies with contract negotiation, regulatory guidance and licensing issues.

Prior to joining StoneRiver, Louise was partner in the Memphis, Tennessee, office of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP focusing on corporate and securities and real estate matters.
