Sam Beutler advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and private offerings. His clients include public and private companies across several industries including healthcare, food and beverage, manufacturing and technology. He recently assisted in the representation of the largest publicly-traded ambulatory surgery center in the U.S. in multiple acquisitions.
Sam also assists in representing private equity and venture capital firms and counsels them on acquisitions and financing.
Sam joined Bass, Berry & Sims after earning his law degree from Vanderbilt University. Before attending law school, Sam was an equity swaps trader with UBS Investment Bank where he was responsible for a multi-billion dollar synthetic equity trading book. He earned a B.A. in history and political science from Yale University.
