Envision to Sell to KKR for $9.9 Billion

We represented Envision Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: EVHC) in its definitive agreement to sell to KKR in an all-cash transaction for $9.9 billion, including debt. KKR will pay $46 per Envision share in cash to buy the company, marking a 32 percent premium to the company's volume-weighted average share price from November 1, when Envision announced it was considering its options. Attorneys Recognized in Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2018

Bass, Berry & Sims estate planning attorneys James Gooch, Mike Sontag and Blaine Smith were recognized in the 2018 edition of the Chambers High Net Worth Guide in the area of Private Wealth Law. The firm also received a Band 2 ranking in the category.

According to the Chambers research: 

The "fantastic" trusts and estates team at Bass, Berry & Sims in Nashville "is top-notch," according to an impressed interviewee, who adds: "They are very aware of the issues that surround estate planning. Their clients are very high net worth, and they are familiar with what those clients face." "If I have complex needs, this is where I go," says a commentator; "it is a great firm with great individuals."
