Primary Care Providers Win Challenge of CMS Interpretation of Enhanced Payment Law

With the help and support of the Tennessee Medical Association, 21 Tennessee physicians of underserved communities joined together and retained Bass, Berry & Sims to file suit against the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to stop improper collection efforts. Benchmark Litigation 2016 Recognizes Firm and Attorneys from Bass, Berry & Sims

October 27, 2015

Bass, Berry & Sims was named as one of the state's "Highly Recommended Firms" in the 2016 edition of Benchmark Litigation. In the description of the firm, Benchmark Litigation cites several factors for the distinction, including the firm's "strong emphasis on diversity, employing a higher percentage of women than many of its competitors, and prioritizing the hiring of women and minorities in its recruitment program." Benchmark's research also found that "[t]he firm boasts an esteemed corporate practice that complements its proven litigation capabilities."

In addition, seven of the firm's attorneys were recognized by the publication. The following members were listed as "Local Litigation Stars" in Tennessee:
