The M&A Advisor Winner 2017The M&A Advisor announced the winners of the 16th Annual M&A Advisor Awards on Monday, November 13 at the 2017 M&A Advisor Awards. Bass, Berry & Sims was named a winner in the two categories related to the following deals:

Benchmark Litigation 2016 Recognizes Firm and Attorneys from Bass, Berry & Sims

Bass, Berry & Sims was named as one of the state's "Highly Recommended Firms" in the 2016 edition of Benchmark Litigation. In the description of the firm, Benchmark Litigation cites several factors for the distinction, including the firm's "strong emphasis on diversity, employing a higher percentage of women than many of its competitors, and prioritizing the hiring of women and minorities in its recruitment program." Benchmark's research also found that "[t]he firm boasts an esteemed corporate practice that complements its proven litigation capabilities."

In addition, seven of the firm's attorneys were recognized by the publication. The following members were listed as "Local Litigation Stars" in Tennessee:

  • Wally Dietz
  • Dale Grimes
  • Overton Thompson

The following members were listed as "Future Stars" in Tennessee:
