Mobile App for the Tennessee General Assembly Now Available

February 23, 2012

Bass, Berry & Sims and the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association (TECA) are pleased to announce that a new mobile application - 107th Tennessee General Assembly - is available for iPhone users in Apple's App Store.

The first of its kind in Tennessee, the comprehensive app contains contact information for each Senate and House member, complete with individual email addresses, hyperlinks to telephone numbers and committee assignments. The app is ideal for anyone who wants to monitor the activities at the state Capitol and is designed to be the best reference possible for those who are interested in or work with Tennessee legislators.

The app will be updated in real time, as changes occur in the makeup of the Legislature. The same application for iPad and Android devices will be available soon.

The 107th Tennessee General Assembly app is sponsored by Bass, Berry & Sims and TECA. TECA has published the "Willie Wirehand" legislative directory in print form for more than 30 years, but this app now moves "Willie" into the digital age.
