Marija joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 2011 as an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities practice. Marija's practice focuses on public equity and debt offerings for both issuers and underwriters, counseling with respect to the registration and disclosure requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission, mergers and acquisitions, as well as general corporate governance matters. She was previously an associate in the Corporate and Securities Service Team at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP in the Memphis office where she concentrated on the representation of buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions and general corporate work.

Marija is a member of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations. She is a recent graduate of the Memphis Leadership Academy and a current board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Memphis (Sycamore View Branch).

Marija earned her law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2006, magna cum laude, where she served as notes and comments editor on the University of Memphis Law Review. She earned a B.A. from James Madison University in 2003.

Marija is proficient in Serbian and Spanish.
