Meredith’s practice focuses on complex business and commercial litigation, including cases involving shareholder class action litigation, business torts, internal investigations, breach of contract claims, and healthcare law.

Securities and Corporate: Meredith has represented public companies and officers and directors in securities and business-related litigation, including class actions and shareholder disputes. In addition, Meredith has represented businesses in an assortment of cases involving breach of contract, corporate malfeasance, and other business related activities.

Broker-Dealer and Financial Products: Meredith has assisted in the defense of broker-dealers in FINRA arbitrations.

Healthcare: Meredith has represented a broad range of healthcare clients, including AmSurg and Ardent Health Services. Her engagements have included consumer and commercial litigation, False Claims Act qui tam actions, and representing healthcare clients in connection with internal investigations regarding potential regulatory and compliance issues.

Representative Matters include:
  • Successful representation of public companies in connection with actions to enjoin leveraged buyout transactions and related litigation.
  • Representation of broker-dealer in bond fund litigation, involving a significant number of arbitration claims in several states.
  • Assisted in obtaining arbitration award, upholding contractual provision for major healthcare company.
  • Lead trial counsel in a pro bono federal civil rights action in a federal jury trial.

A native of Nashville, Meredith is active in the community and enjoys opportunities to participate in pro bono activities. She also enjoys running, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her husband Keith.
