Mike Kuffner joined the firm in September 2008 as an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice. Mike’s practice includes general corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory matters, private equity and venture capital financings, corporate governance and general corporate counseling. He advises both private and publicly traded companies in a variety of industries. Mike is also a member of the firm’s Internal Investigations group and has experience in conducting regulatory audits of the New York Stock Exchange and the NYSE Amex.
Mike received his J.D. in 2008 magna cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he was elected to Order of the Coif. He was a senior editor for the Alabama Law Review. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Mike graduated from The University of Alabama, summa cum laude, in 2005 with a B.S. in commerce and business administration, majoring in accounting with a minor in communication studies.
