Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Discusses ABA Task Force on Corporate Responsibility Chaired by James Cheek
The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel discusses the American Bar Association Task Force on Corporate Responsibility, chaired by James H. Cheek, III of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC. The task force was appointed by the president of the ABA in March 2002 with the following charge: "[To] examine systemic issues arising out of the unexpected and traumatic bankruptcy of Enron and other Enron-like situations [and to] examine the ethical principles governing the roles of lawyers, executive officers, directors and other key participants to enhance the public trust "
