Meredith’s practice focuses on transactional, operational and regulatory work for a broad range of healthcare providers and companies, including hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, physician practice groups, medical device and equipment suppliers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers. Meredith is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) and of the American Bar Association's Section on Health Law.
Meredith joined Bass, Berry & Sims PLC in 2010 as an associate in the Healthcare Practice Group. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she was associate articles editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, received the Outstanding Student Award in Antitrust and Sports Law, and completed an internship with the university attorney. She was also the winner of the Fall 2007 Casenote Competition, resulting in the publication of “Constitutional Law – Taxpayer Standing to Challenge Executive Spending – Discretionary Spending Versus Spending Pursuant to Congressional Authority,” 77 Miss L.J. 695 (Winter 2007). She earned a B.S. in Political Science and History magna cum laude from Belmont University in 2006, where she finished in the top 10 percent of her class. She interned with United States Majority Leader William H. Frist, with the Fund for American Studies Program at Georgetown University, and was a page at the 2004 National Republican Convention.
A native of Clinton, Mississippi, Meredith has volunteered with Ghanaian orphans in the Volta Region of Ghana and with Sudanese refugees through the Catholic Charities Mission. Meredith enjoys live music, travel and being active.
