Leslie practices primarily in the areas of commercial finance, secured transactions, commercial real estate and general commercial law.

Financing Transactions: Leslie focuses her practice on representing lenders, investors and borrowers in a wide variety of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, first and second lien credit facilities, asset-based financings, mezzanine financings, equipment financings and construction loans in a diverse range of industries, including:
  • An NYSE-listed hospitality and entertainment company in a $925 million revolving credit and term loan facility
  • An NYSE-listed manufacturer of premium alcoholic beverage brands in a $800 million unsecured revolving credit facility
  • A professional sports franchise in a $75 million revolving credit and term loan facility 
  • An institutional lender in an acquisition financing to a national provider of adolescent behavioral health programs 
  • Institutional lenders in loan workouts and restructurings, including with a developer of commercial and residential real estate involving over twenty properties 
  • Private equity funds in mezzanine financing transactions

Real Estate: Leslie routinely represents purchasers, owners, landlords and tenants in a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, sale-leasebacks and leasing.

Originally from Cleveland, Tennessee, Leslie graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2004 and received her law degree from The University of Tennessee in 2008 with highest honors. Leslie served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Tennessee Law Review (2007-2008).

Leslie is an active member of Otter Creek Church in Brentwood, Tennessee and is involved with The Living Water Project, an organization dedicated to bringing clean water to impoverished communities around the world. Leslie and her husband John enjoy trying new recipes, playing with their Yorkshire Terrier, and cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers.
