Nashville, Tenn., October 27, 2009 – Keith Simmons, managing partner at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, has been elected to the executive committee of Lex Mundi by the organization's board of directors during the Lex Mundi 2009 Annual Meeting in Madrid. Simmons has been managing partner and chair of the firm’s management committee for 14 years. Before becoming managing partner, Simmons’ practice area was public finance. Active in community affairs, he is the founding president of the Nashville Public Library Foundation and a current board member. He also serves on the boards of Cumberland Region Tomorrow, Downtown Rotary and the Urban Libraries Council. Simmons is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School.
