Julie Walker joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 1999 as an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Area. Her practice includes the representation of public and private companies at all stages of development. Julie advises clients on a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, SEC reporting and securities laws compliance, corporate governance and corporate formation. Her experience includes representing both public and private acquirors and targets in a wide variety of acquisition transactions (including management buyouts, other going private transactions and roll-ups) and representing both companies and underwriters in public offerings and companies in private placements of debt and equity securities.
A native of Wenham, Massachusetts, Julie graduated with honors from Eckerd College in 1996 with a B.A. in business management. She received her law degree in 1999 from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she served as associate articles editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
