Jamie Wade joined Bass, Berry & Sims in July 2006 as an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Area. Her practice includes general corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory matters, corporate governance and general corporate counseling. As a member of the firm's Executive Compensation Group, she also focuses on all issues related to the disclosure of compensation arrangements under the federal securities laws, including under proxy, Section 16 and '34 Act rules.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Jamie graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an A.B. in applied mathematics and a master's in statistics from Harvard University. In 2004, she received her J.D. from Stanford Law School where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Jamie was a research assistant, a book review editor for the Stanford Law Review and received the Jay M. Spears Award for outstanding service to the law review.
