Justin joined the firm in the fall of 2005 and has primarily devoted his practice to representing businesses in various aspects of labor relations and employment law, including claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Justin counsels employers with respect to employee compensation, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence, accommodation of disabilities, discipline and management of employee performance, and termination. Justin assists employers in drafting agreements and policies, and handles litigation and counseling with respect to restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
Justin graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in political science and an English minor in 2000. He was elected Phi Beta Kappa and was a member of the College Scholars' Program. In 2004, he received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, Justin was a Dillard Fellow, as well as executive editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and secretary of the Virginia Employment and Labor Law Association. After graduation, Justin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Samuel H. Mays, Jr., United States District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee.
Justin enjoys reading, traveling and playing guitar.
