We represented IASIS Healthcare Corporation in a multi-year DOJ investigation involving allegations relating to physician compensation arrangements and performance of unnecessary medical procedures concerning IASIS's hospitals in Arizona, Texas, Florida, Utah and Nevada. After DOJ declined intervention in the qui tam FCA action, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona ultimately granted IASIS's motion to dismiss and ordered sanctions against relator's counsel related to the relator's use of privileged documents in connection with the filing of the action.
