We represented The Bun Companies in its acquisition of Masada Bakery. Masada is a 32-year-old, family-owned company that makes over 400 bread products with distribution to wholesale clients in seven states. The acquisition, which closed on October 14, 2014, was expected to significantly boost The Bun Companies’ sales volumes. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Bun Companies provides bakery products for wholesale clients, including KFC, Trader Joe’s and McDonald’s. Masada Bakery is a wholesale bakery in Atlanta that offers a wide variety of artisan-style, organic breads and pastries to the Southeastern US.
