Bass Berry & Sims represented the president of a large Department of Education contractor who had been suspended by the Department. Along with the president, the Department suspended the company and current and former employees based on allegations that the company had failed to comply with its contractual obligations. After submitting a response addressing the concerns raised in the suspension notice, meeting with the Department’s Suspending and Debarring Official, and responding to multiple rounds of questions from the agency necessitated in part by the complexity of the multi-party action, the suspension was terminated without an administrative agreement.
