Bass, Berry & Sims obtained a jury trial victory on six of seven counts for the former vice president of Pilot Flying J who, along with three others, was accused of seeking to defraud customers. The decision concluded a highly publicized trial that spanned more than three months. The jury's verdict acquitted our client of participating in a conspiracy to defraud customers of Pilot Flying J and of making material false statements to government agents. The defense team is exploring appellate options on the single wire fraud count in which he was convicted.
