Community First Bank & Trust Sells to Commerce Union

We represented Community First Bank & Trust in Columbia in its definitive agreement to sell to Commerce Union Bancshares, the parent of Reliant Bank, for $59 million. The combined company with $1.5 billion in assets will operate under the name Reliant Bancorp upon the deal’s closing. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018.
