Primary Care Providers Win Challenge of CMS Interpretation of Enhanced Payment Law

With the help and support of the Tennessee Medical Association, 21 Tennessee physicians of underserved communities joined together and retained Bass, Berry & Sims to file suit against the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to stop improper collection efforts. Bob Evans Farms Sells Restaurant Division

We represented Bob Evans Farms, Inc. (NASDAQ: BOBE) in the sale of Bob Evans Restaurants to Golden Gate Capital for $565 million plus the assumption of certain net working capital liabilities. Bob Evans Restaurants, owns and operates more than 500 family restaurants in 18 states, primarily in the Midwest, mid-Atlantic and Southeast U.S. Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is primary corporate and securities counsel for Bob Evans Farms and served as lead counsel on the deal.

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. (Nasdaq: BOBE) owns and operates full-service restaurants under the Bob Evans Restaurants brand name. Through its BEF Foods segment, the company is also a leading producer and distributor of refrigerated side dishes, pork sausage, and a variety of refrigerated and frozen convenience food items under the Bob Evans and Owens brand names.
