CIAs: New Developments and a Look Inside a Past Case

Attorney Anna Grizzle and Brett Bissey, MediTract Senior Vice President of Compliance Services, will speak at the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) Regional Conference on "CIAs: New Developments and a Look Inside a Past Case." 

During the session, Anna and Brett will cover: 

  • New trends in recent Corporate Integrity Agreements and what it may mean for compliance programs
  • Insights from the former SVP, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at UMDNJ (which was under a 5 year CIA following Deferred Prosecution) on a CIA’s impact on planned audits and for cause audits, work plans, engagement of consultants, communication with board members, etc
  • Proactive compliance initiatives that can be implemented by organizations to reduce the possibility of not being subject to a CIA in the future

Additionally, Anna Grizzle is serving as chair of the planning committee for the HCCA Regional Conference.
