Minimizing the Risk of Software Implementations

Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys, Michael Dagley and Bob Brewer will present at the HIMSS Summit of the Southeast 2015. They will share best practices and case studies from their experience advocating for hospitals in HIT software vendor contracts and disputes and help attendees:

  • Negotiate vendor contracts;
  • Identify the rights of providers against vendors in the event the software fails;
  • Evaluate damages and determine when to proceed with litigation; and
  • Resolve inevitable software issues quickly and effectively.

From ensuring contracts with vendors are fairly arranged to negotiating and litigating a software dispute, Bob and Michael will instruct on the best strategies for healthcare companies to navigate software implementation.

Conference goers can attend "Minimizing the Risk of Software Implementations" on Thursday, October 29 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Central at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
