Bass Berry & Sims attorney Shannon Wiley will speak at the 2022 Asembia Specialty Pharmacy Summit in a session titled, “Legal Considerations: The Intersection of Infusion and Specialty” on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. PDT.
In this session, Shannon will discuss the myriad of patient infusion models such as home infusion, pharmacy suite infusion, ambulatory infusion centers, and physician practice infusion. She will explore the legal considerations for specialty pharmacies engaging in one or more of these models, including licensure, staffing models and state professional practice laws, payor contracting and billing considerations, relationships with referral sources, and drug sourcing.
