Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Michael Moschel is presenting at a lunch and learn hosted in conjunction with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center and UT Procurement Technical Assistance Center. Michael will present on the topic of “Compliance with Labor Laws Applicable to the Government Contractor.” This session will provide a general overview of the wage and hour labor laws applicable to government contractors, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Service Contract Act, the David-Bacon Act and the Walsh-Healy Act. The discussion will include overtime and minimum wage, exemptions, and recent Executive Orders. This session will take place on June 16th at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce.
