On December 1, 2016, Parker Hannifin Corporation and CLARCOR Inc. announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Parker will acquire CLARCOR for approximately $4.3 billion in cash, including the assumption of net debt. The transaction has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of each company. Upon closing of the transaction, expected to be completed by or during the first quarter of Parker’s fiscal year 2018, CLARCOR will be combined with Parker’s Filtration Group to form a leading and diverse global filtration business. Strategies for Dealing with Physician-Related Fraud and Abuse Enforcement Trends and Information Sharing in Value-Based Health Care


February 5-7, 2014

Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Matt Curley will speak at the American Health Lawyers Association Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute conference. Matt will speak on the topic of "Effective Strategies for Dealing with Physician-Related Fraud and Abuse Enforcement Trends."

Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Steele Clayton will also participate in a panel discussion on February 6, 2014 in New Orleans at the Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute conference. Steele will speak on antitrust issues related to information sharing in a presentation titled "Data is King – Information Sharing A-Z in the World of Value-Based Health Care" presented by the In-House Counsel and Antitrust Practice Groups Joint Luncheon.

The event will be held February 5-7 at the Sheraton in New Orleans.
