David Rue Joins Bass, Berry & Sims
 Nashville, Tenn., April 27, 2009 – David H. Rue has joined Bass Berry & Sims PLC as managing director of the firm’s corporate and securities group, it was announced today. He has extensive experience in providing dedicated teams and technology to corporate clients in connection with their transactions and regulatory compliance.
Rue will assist Todd Rolapp, chair of the group, in the management and development of the firm’s corporate practice and will support the existing client relations efforts of the firm in the corporate and securities and healthcare practice areas.
He comes to the firm from Bowne & Co., Inc. where he served for the last 20 years in various sales, management, and marketing capacities in Nashville, Atlanta and New York. He founded ’34 Act Software Development, LLC, an early XBRL enabled EDGAR filing software company and practiced law in Nashville early in his career.
Rue is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky.
